Citadel Construction was the general contractor for the construction of a Shopko store in Lewiston, Idaho. Cuddy Mountain Concrete, the concrete subcontractor, brought a breach of contract action against Citadel after Citadel terminated its subcontract. Following a trial, the jury awarded Cuddy Mountain $74,000 on its breach of contract claim, which included lost profits and punitive damages. The trial court denied Citadels motion for a new trial and its motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict. Citadel has appealed this decision. For the reasons stated below, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
